Hi there,
I facing a serious problem with my chaser programming.
My full environment can be seen here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/b3bq54e93ckdx ... g.qxw?dl=0
I have 4 LED PARs, I made static scense to fill them with colour than I want to make a chaser using the fixtures master dimmer. This works for Step 2-4, but first step sets 100% and than is totally skiped on chaser only runs step 2-4.
I don't have any clue what is wrong here.
At the beginning I have chosen wrong fixture, so I have deleted them and added new ones skipping a function channel, that I don't need.
The problem is somewhere in QLC+, either in the program or in my project file. When using the DMX monitor it shows the isse and it doesn't matter if I have a DMX device attached or not. Visual feedback is always the same.
Is it me doing something wrong?
Thanks for any help, as I'm a bit under time pressure, because we want to go live next weekend.
Best Regards
Malte
Chaser Bug, skips first Step
Which version of QLC are you using? I tried your file with Windows version 4.8.3 and the chaser works exactly as expected. No skipping.
I have this problem too on the Mac version at least.
I got around it by setting the 'Fade In' time to 0.20 and then step 1 seems to run OK.
I'm running version 4.8.4

Thanks Chris,
the 0.20 setting does the job. I'm on 4.8.4 as well but on Windows.
So what is the difference between 4.8.3 and 4.8.4 than?
Cheers

EDIT: I have re-created the same chaser but it shows the same phenomenon, even when I set 0.2 fading. But as soon as I save the project, close QLC+ and open everything again, it works.
I can even set the fade back to 0 or standard.
So somehow I got a workaround, but it still seems to me that this is a bug, probably in the chaser creation dialog.
