Hey everyone,
I'm using the latest version of QLC+ on a Mac Book Pro, and triggering via midi in Logic 9. I'm trying to get buttons on multiple pages to work even when one is not being viewed.
I'm trying to use pages to consolidate my buttons, so I can have 1 frame for my 4 pars. Here's the issue I'm having: When I go to the second page, I use auto detect for the button and it finds the note also labeling it as the second page. Perfect! But, when I go to playback it will only trigger the lights the very first time I use it. After that if I scroll through pages it will only play the page that I'm on. Is there a way for playback to not be exclusive the page being viewed?
Is there something I'm missing about the functionality of pages?
Much appreciated!!
Odd behavior from pages in Virtual Console
What you describe here is a feature I think, not a bug.
Since some Midi-Controllers only offer very few buttons many have to map several buttons on the VC to one Midi button. To make this easier QLC only triggers buttons on the currently active page.
What I would do in your case or in any case where there should be buttons available permanently via Midi is putting them in a Frame. Then activating the header of the frame. You can now maximize the frame if you want to have a look at the buttons, otherwise its enough to have it minimized and triggering them via midi.
