I came across QLC+ while searching for software to use with my Enttec Pro interface, so far i'm loving it, really, i love everything about it, the UI and all the functions are awesome, great work!
I'm a VJ and I'm trying to make a show that synchronizes Resolume and QLC+. I use Resolume to play and mix video. I would like to map the video position/time/playhead (or whatever it's called) in Resolume to the playhead in the Shows tab in QLC, that way I can have video/audio synchronized to a DMX show.
There is a tutorial on youtube that shows what I'm trying to achieve with Resolume and QLC+, but on the video they use Traktor and Resolume. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RQos7F4AbE
The tutorial basically shows how the 'song position' on traktor is send via midi to control resolume's 'transport' for the video.
I've seen many programs that have Timelines for DMX programming. I've experimented on QLC+ following the "Audio Triggered cue list" tutorial on your webpage, but I was not able to syncronize the show created in QLC+ along with the video and audio using Midi CC, just like the tutorial for Traktor and Resolume. Midi clock just triggers the chases according to every beat, but doesn't follow the arrangement done in the Shows tab in QLC+, rendering any dmx programming longer than 1 beat useless.
Is there any way to create a Midi CC controlled "Playhead" that controls the position in time of a Show in the Virtual Console tab?. I think that way it would enable us to run a Show in QLC+ controlling all the dmx lights while keeping synchronization to Resolume's Midi CC out (or any other program that uses midi).
