Unable to send video to screen 2 in Full Screen mode

I just downloaded 4.8.4. I'm installed on a Windows Vista Business x64, with 8gb RAM, on a Dell Latitude D630 laptop and an external projector configured as an extended desktop.

The video driver is Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver for Mobile.
Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family
Driver Version: 7.14.10.1409

If I select Output Screen - Screen 2 and Video Output Windowed, it outputs to screen 2, but if I select Screen 2 and Fullscreen, it out puts to Screen 1.

Although it required a work-around, I was able to get it working in 4.8.3. For now, I'll drop back to that.

Sounds like a great opportunity to try Ubuntu on this machine. No need even to install it (which you can do as dual boot if for some bizarre reason you must keep your current ancient operating system) - run it from a stick and see if it solves the problem.

Technically, that would be avoiding the problem, rather than solving it. :)

The problem may have something to do with Vista, since 4.8.3 worked on XP, but has this same problem on Vista x64.

Well you already changed OS so... why not use a decent one ? :D

(I agree the bugs needs to be fixed, but it does not sound easy to test every existing OS combined with every possible multimonitor setup...)

Just tested on Windows 7 64bit.
Works as expected (and pretty well)

I believe Vista is one of the worst Microsoft releases ever (together with Me and 8.0)
If you can, switch at least to 7.
Otherwise....Linux ! :)

Thanks, I don't have a Win7 laptop at the moment, and the booth I'm in doesn't have room for a tower, monitor, kb & mouse.

As a computer professional since computers took up whole rooms, I feel confident stating the all the "Consumer" Windows OS's, were completely unnecessary. The biggest problem with Vista, was the attempt to make it "flashy". And the biggest problem with 8, is the new interface, because marketing says you have to make things LOOK different, or people won't know they bought something new.

Unfortunately, I can't get hold of a Win7 laptop at this time.

So as a computer professional, surely it should be a doddle for you to make your laptop dual boot with Linux? It's not even as if you'd need to transfer any files over, as Linux will automatically mount the Windows partition(s) for you too.

...or he can boot a "live" Linux from a USB pendrive. Kinda slow to start but once QLC+ is loaded there is absolutely no difference as if Linux was installed on the HDD

Stuck a new drive in a Dell D630 laptop and installed Win7 Pro x32. This laptop uses the Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset. I downloaded the latest drivers from Intel (8.15.10.1930).

I have the same problem. Full screen will not play on Screen 2.

Admittedly, I am not a Linux expert.

I used LinuxLive USB Creator to setup a 32gb thumb drive with a 32bit Kubuntu 14.10, with KDELibs 4.14.1, QT 4.8.6 & Kernal 3.16.0-23-generic.

I ran the 3 sudo instructions under Pre-requisities.

I downloaded qlcplus_4.8.4_i386.deb, but when I try to install the package, I get:

Status: Error: Cannot satisfy dependancies
