Crash on Yosemite

Hello.
I'm trying to run the newest version of qlc+, 4.8.4a, on a 2014 MBP. I can open the fixture editor alright, but when i try and open the controller part, it crashes every time. I have until now not succeeded in opening successfully.
As far as I understand, there is no need for any plugins right?

Hope someone can help.

EDIT#1: It looks like it happens when the "startup progress bar" gets to midi.
