Multiple Inputs for One Universe

Hi all,
Fairly new to all this, so bear with me!
I'm a mobile DJ trying to create something fun for my clients. I would like to have multiple inputs control a single universe.
I have 2 HID devices, 1 Midi and a Touch OSC one. I have an Enttec DMXUSBPro, and all my lights connect to this device.
I am trying to get each device to control a set of lights. I can do it one input at a time, but I want it for multiple inputs at once... I don't have enough lights to warrant the cost of multiple Enttec devices for multiple universes.
Why would I want multiple inputs controlling the lights?
Well, as I said, I'm a mobile DJ. I'm trying to connect a Midi keyboard, and Rock Band's HID instruments to have my guests create a "light show" while playing the instruments as an "air band".
I might be an edge case.
I may have found an ugly work around using Fergo JoystickMIDI (or perhaps Bome's Translator Pro, if need be) and LoopBe1, but it seems like an ugly hack to me, for what could be native to QLC+
Thanks for listening, and I hope you can help me out!
