Hi all! I'm trying to create a show linking music and scenes but...
First of all I create for example 3 scenes with a simple dimmer light (scene 1= channel 1 to 255, scene 2= channel 2 to 255, scene3 = channel 3 to 255) on the scene tab. I add a music on the same tab.
Then I move to show tab and there I create a new show adding the music and one scene at a time.. If I click on the scenes added they've lost their value and when I try to play the show their value stay to 0. From there if I move again on the scene tab the value is disappeared there too...
I'm on archlinux with the last version installed
How can I solve?
Thanks
Show's problem
Sorry not sure what you are doing here.
I have tried to follow your steps and every thing works as expected.

Here it is.. Now in the scene tab all the value are 0... but I saved them to 255... In the moment I add them to the show the value changes
It's the same if I change the value in the show tab.. they doesn't change in scene's tab

Hi, thanks for the file.
When I opened your file, you are right all the scenes show sliders at 0, but if you go to the show tab and click on a scene and select the first step in the step selection box on the right, the sliders show things as they should be. Also if you then go to the scene tab all is fine there now.
I believe that there strange interaction between scenes and the show function. As I understand things, this is because scenes are designed to be used in live performances where as if you are running a show this is timed to some music ro some thing and should be setup in the show editor.

You're right! I didn't see that point.. probably it's caused by the fact that when a scene is imported in a show it becomes part of a chaser, and by clicking only the chaser it doesn't show the value of the single scene inside (but only the channel used).
All perfect!!
Thanks for the help!
PS: I've to put 123 scenes in a chaser linked to a show.. it's a Mazinga Zeta episode'audio in which every sentence has a different light plan! )
