Now that i upgraded to version 4.8. The background color on the buttons in the virtual console is one color even if you have changed to different colors. When you go to change the color it shows the correct color in dialogue but the button doesn't reflect the correct color. This was on Windows 7. I haven't tried to load the profile onto my Linux laptop yet.

Ok so I just opened the same profile on my Arch Linux laptop with V4.8.0 and the button colors are fine in the virtual console. Hmm weird.

Yes, I confirm it's a Windows-only Qt5-related bug.
I tried a quick fix but didn't work. I need to spend some more time on it.
Linux works perfectly on Qt5.

5.2.1 was buggy, as stated in the release announcement.
5.3.2 seems to be working fine.

You know a good way to install 5.3.2 safely in Ubuntu 14.04?.

Download a prebuilt version here:
http://qt-project.org/downloads
Install it where you want (e.g. /home/user/Qt5.3.2)
Then call "/home/user/Qt5.3.2/5.3/gcc_64/bin/qmake" from the QLC+ sources tree
Run make / make install and you're done

I will try this solution. Is possible to create a debian package after compilation finished?

Santiago, this is going totally out of topic.
Anyway, no, I don't think you can create a debian package on a non-system Qt version. If you can, it will work only on your computer anyway.

I looked at my QT5 version on Arch Linux on my laptop and it is 5.3.1 and it works perfectly. Just like it did in previous versions. Not being able to change the background colors on Windows at church is not big deal. Just wanted to put it out there so it was known. Thanks guys for your hard work!!

Thanks outlaws, you did well to post your findings.
Unfortunately it's a Qt5+Windows bug.
I am waiting a few days to see if 5.4.0 beta resolves it. Otherwise I will file a ticket to the Qt team and try to find a temporary (which could become permanent though) solution until they fix it.
