Hi, I have been using QLC for months now and am just starting to have a new problem. When I re-opened my workspace some of my par can wash scenes are not correct. EX: red wash, green wash, purple wash etc. were all blacked out. Not all my washed though the blue, and cyan and some others are fine. I open the scene files and the fixtures are there, but the values are zeroed out on all the scenes that are blacked out. I fix all the scenes that need to be fixed and save the file. I reopen it and the problem occurs again. I again fixed the scenes and saved the file also saved it with a different name and re-opened the file same problem again? I also tried this on a separate laptop and the same issue. Any ideas or help? I am using version 4.7.3

Can you post your workspace file + any custom fixture definitions? It will make finding solution to your problem faster. Also, please post your operating system (linux/mac/windows).

Thanks for trying to help. I am using windows 7 on a pentium i5 with 8gig of ram. For lights I am using 4 Chauvet Slimpar 56, 2 Chauvet Intimidator LED 200, and 1 Chauvet Swarm 4.

We don't understand each other. I need your .QXF (fixture) files, and .QXW (workspace/project) file, so that I can try to reproduce your problem. These files are of no use.

Even better: write me an exact step-by-step recipe so that I can try to reproduce the problem. So far I was not able to.

For example:

- create new file
- add 4 Chauvet Slimpar 56 fixtures in 7ch mode starting from address 1
- create scene "red", add all 4 fixtures, make check R channel, set value to 255, copy values to all fixtures
- save
- close qlc+
- open qlc+
- open the file
- check the scene, R channel has value of 0 for all fixtures

Sorry about the confusion. I have attached the correct files this time. The only custom fixture I created was the Swarm 4. The others I used the fixture file included with QLC. The problem happens in my was scenes,
open QLC
-go to virtual console click on red wash or green wash and they have no values
-click on the blue or cyan wash and they are fine
-go to the scene settings and correct the slim pars by bring bringing the red to 255 and dimmer to 255 and copy to all 4 slim par cans
-do the same for the other wash scenes not working correctly, white, purple, amber
-save the file
-back to virtual console and they work fine
-close qlc
-reopen qlc
-the values for the slim pars on those fixtures in those scenes are back to zero
The scene names I have trouble with are "wash red solo", "wash Green solo", "Wash Purple solo", "Wash white solo"
Hope that is more clear. Thanks.

Your problem seems to be that you created sequences from the scene. If you remove the sequences, then it should work. If you need them, you have to enter the values in the sequences.
