Hi! I am fairly new to QLC+, so I do not know if this is something that I am doing wrong, or something else. Basically, I just replaced our old NSI board with a computer running QLC+ and an enttec OpenDMX USB with the idea of adding new LED fixtures in a few weeks (the NSI only supported dimmer modules). My first goal is to get the basic scenes that we need for day to day operation programmed into QLC+ before I try to get the LED fixtures installed. I can create the scene in the simple desk, which will output to the dimmers just fine; but when I try to live dump it into a new scene, everything appears to be there with the correct values and such, but nothing will output to the dimmer modules. When I look at the DMX monitor within QLC+, it doesn't show that it is sending the signal either. I have tried creating the scene from scratch in the functions menu too... that doesn't work either. I can go back to simple desk and have the dimmers respond, so I know I'm not bricking something on the output settings (at least for the whole program).

I've been playing around with this for awhile now, and have not had any luck. The necessary channels are enabled in the scene, but they just don't do anything, even though they show that they have a value. Ideally I would like to get them assigned to a slider or button in Virtual Console, but that doesn't work either.

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Thanks!

Edit:
More information:
After I added a fade in and fade out time to the scene and use a button instead of a slider on the virtual console, I get some response, but nothing that makes sense. When I toggle the button on, it doesn't do anything, but when I toggle the button off, all of the lights jump to 255, and fade down with the fade out time. The lights aren't even programmed to reach 255, the maximum intensity is only 223, so this doesn't make any sense to me; but I'm sure at this point I must be missing something. I have a feeling I am going to look really really stupid.

Thanks again in advance for any help!

OddSocks

Are you using the simple desk, and if so have you pressed the reset button on it to release the channels?

Wow... I feel really stupid. That was it. Thanks so much!
