Hi There

I have been playing with the "stop all functions" in VC...

I would expect this function to set all "dimmers" to zero or maybe even all channels to zero.. However it does not do that... I have several LCD panels and with these all channels are set to zero. However I also have a couple of Moving Heads and scanners and with them nothing happens and when checking dmx monitor nothing really happens at all..

Question is if this is a bug or something that can be set in fixture manager (as the panels are set to zero for all channels and the Moving heads are not set to anything)

Hi Hogbob,

When "stop all functions" is pressed, HTP (intensity) Channels go to zero but LTP Channels stay the same as they were at the moment of stopping.

A Chaser or EFX with changing LTP values will stop running but the last LTP values sent will remain - there's no point in pan, tilt, gobo etc. being set to zero.

Massimo - I think this should be explained in the documentation.

However, when I compared "stop all functions" to stopping functions individually from VC Buttons, I discovered this inconsistency:

When the Button is controlling a Scene in which LTP values are timed to change slowly, releasing the button (stopping the function) after the LTP changes have completed leaves the last LTP values, which is correct.

Releasing the Button before the LTP values have finished changing causes them to fade to zero. I think it would be better if they simply stopped changing as happens with "stop all functions".
