Q Light Controller+

Hi everybody.

I got pb with my Enttec open DMX and QLC+.
I work on Mac OS 10.6.8

My Mac can find the Open DMX, I can see it in the "Information system" window.
The software can't find my Open DMX.

I've tried to uninstall VCP Driver as written in QLC+ Manual.
=> it seems to be ok (terminal said that it can't find the files to delete)

Can someone help me to understand what's wrong please?

Ok, I downgrade to version Qlc+ 6.1 and I found enttec, but still don't work.

I had the same problem with a brand new OpenDMX Clone from dw-lighting.de. It worked flawless under windows but was not detected within QLC+ on OSX.

What I did to get it to work was booting my Macbook into Bootcamp Windows, downloading the FTDI Programmer Tool and changed the Product ID from 0x6015 to 0x06001 and the Vendor String from DW-Lighting.de to ENTTEC.

After rebooting to OSX everything works out of the box.

So I think, there's a problem with the OSX drivers not knowing the newer PID's for the FTDI-Chip. Maybe someone could change that.

Otherwise feel free to reprogram your device. But keep in mind, that doing so may void your warranty.

Where did you guys find all these products with 0x6015 PID ?
They're not even supported by default by the latest libFTDI library

As I wrote above, mine is from dw-lighting.de. The FTDI-Drivers for Windows do show the 6015 in their inf-file. But so what, reprogramming and everything works quite well.
