Hello everyone,
I'm completely new to QLC+, in the past I've been working with Daslight and Freestyler, but now I've discovered QLC+ and I must say that I'm very very impressed by this masterpiece of software !
So I've ordered me a SP Labs Entec compatible USB to DMX adapter, configured it as a Pro interface and started to "play" with QLC+.
Adding Fixtures to the program, and controlling them by means of the Simple Desk works perfectly, so it was time to start creating scenes. I've watched the tutorial a few times, but when I try to make my own scene, I'm running into a problem.
For example, I take to RGB Led Pars and add them to the scene. When I try to set the colors of the fixtures to blue, I click on top of the blue fader to activate the channel, and I put the fader up.
So far so good, but there's nothing sent to my fixtures, they stay dark. Blind mode isn't activated, so I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or is this maybe a bug ?
I will be happy to get some advice from the QLC+ experts
Grtz,
Patrick
Problems creating scenes with QLC+ 4.7.0
Well.... 20 minutes later I've tried it one more time, and it seems that I had to had to do a "Reset Universe" from within the Simple Desk.
I don't know if this is standard procedure, but this way it seems to work !

Yes, this is perfectly normal. To avoid any conflicts, when a slider is moved on the simple desk it takes full control of that channel requiring a universe reset.
I'm on a mobile device so can't find the specific thread but as far as I'm aware the developer has looked into ways of making it clear when the simple desk is overriding everything else.
