EFX in a scene?

Hi Everybody and thank you for this great software. Now that I have been using it and learning my terms and learning my way around the software I have question. I would like to create a chase where certain scenes would include an EFX. Example: a red wash with my pars along with a slow circle of white from my scanners. I can create the circle for the scanners in the EFX and save it, but can I use it in a scene? My scanners preset movements are rather fast and I would like some scenes with a slower pan. I am using this by myself as a mobile dj light setup so I do not always have the time to be able to work the virtual console manually to create the scene live. Thanks for your help.

If I'm not mistaken I believe this is where a collection comes in handy. If you create a scene for the red PARs and an EFX for the scanners then place them both into a collection you should be able to put this in a chaser.

Well I tried creating a collection with wash lights and a scanner pan or circle. The problem I am having is that my wash lights do not turn on during the collection scene? I have tried different color washes that I set up in my scenes. The scanner works, that will do the pattern and color I choose. Any Ideas?

if you attach here your qxw file along with any custom qxf files I will check your file, to see where the problem is.
