Hello,

Thanks for reviving the QLC project from years past. It is nice to see QLC+ and all the positive developments and improvements.

I just wanted to let you know of two random issues that I occasionally notice. I did some searching on the forums, so I am sorry if this was posted already - however I couldn't find much with these two issues.

I am running OSX Mavericks 10.9.1 and QLC+ 4.6.0.

1) After opening QLC+, and selecting to enter Q Light Controller Plus, if I don't keep the mouse moving the application will open and then freeze - locking the entire computer. I seem to only be able to hard reboot the machine. Even force-quite commands don't work. However if I keep moving the mouse around the application usually opens okay.

2) This one is more difficult to explain. In the Fixture Definition Editor and editing a fixture... When editing a channel that is a color group and I am defining the appropriate DMX values and in the "Edit Capability" window, if I select a colour or second colour to be displayed - once I close the "Edit Capability" window the application won't recognize any more mouse clicks in the "Edit Channel Window" leaving me with the only one option, to press "enter" on the keyboard to confirm I am done editing the channel group (even though there is more editing & dmx values to input). This issue only happens when a colour is added in the "Edit Capability" window, otherwise everything performs fine. This quark just makes it much more time consuming to define fixtures, as I constantly have to enter and exit the channel editor.

Thanks again for everything everyone does to contribute to this project, I just wanted to share some feedback with minor quarks.

Cheers,
Drew

Thanks Lorenzo! It's nice to know other people are experience the freeze problem. Does not seem like there is a fix yet, other than to keep moving the mouse. I have already disabled the Apple drivers that others have referred to.

If you hear anything about the fixture definition editor issue (or solution) I'd love to know so I can define some more fixtures for the community.

Cheers,
Drew

Hi Drew,

2nd one I've definitely seen. Only seems to happen under certain circumstances. Will play around tomorrow to try and get some steps to reproduce.

Best,

Joe
