Hi Massimo,

A happy New Year to you!

When trying to remap whole fixtures consisting of 12 generic dimmer channels or 8 colour changer channels, I found the following behaviours:

1) All of the channels of the source fixture are mapped onto the first channel of the target fixture if the target fixture is or has been in the source fixture list.

2) When tested in a completed project, channels were mapped in correct one to one correspondence if the target fixture had never been in the source fixture list. (The same fixture definition was saved as a separate definition file under a different name.)

3) When tested in an otherwise empty new project, I could not get a correct one to one mapping regardless of which generic dimmers or colour changers were added to the target fixture list.

4) Channels were mapped correctly when a source fixture was cloned.

5) After cloning a fixture and the cutting the remapping connection, the cloned fixture is remapped correctly when remapped to a different source fixture.

6) Some source fixtures with more than one speed channel get them all remapped onto the first speed channel of the target fixture – for example the Ledj Pro Tri LED back drop controller (classified as “other”) but not the DHA 4-ch DC controller (classified as “effect”).

An additional idea - it would be very useful to have a “clone all fixtures” button for occasions when only a couple of fixtures in a large project need remapping.

Hello Michael. I think you forgot
7) if you press CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+TAB+F12 it doesn't make me a coffee :)

Just kidding ;)
I'll need some time to process all those findings. Right now I'm quite busy on a big change of the QLC+ engine, so it might take some days.

Actually, I have a USB powered device for keeping a mug of coffee warm and a coffee machine can always be connected to a dimmer and switched on by a cue several minutes before the interval ........
