I have troubles to find where I can configure that a Channel should be LTP.
I have LED TriPar in 6 Channel Mode (R G B ColorPreset Strobe Dimmer).
I have first tested with Simple Desk.
Secend I have created Slider in Virtual Desk for R G B and Dimmer.
Third I have creaded scenes, one for a ColorPreset (only Channel 4) and one with R0, G0, B30 and Dimmer 20.
The ColorPreset Scene does not work, not in Function Tab, not as a button. It always goes to zero. Why Zero? Thats also not HTP.
The RGBDimmer Scene seems like HTP, because the color settings which has always a value are not set to zero.
I have checked the Documentation:
All channels that have been assigned to the Intensity group obey the very simple HTP rule
All channels that have been assigned to the Intensity group obey the very simple LTP rule
What????
So where can I change from HTP to LTP Mode? The Last Button, Slider, whatever I use should win.
And what is meant that LTPs are not able to Fade? Okay for Macros/Gobos, but If I want RGB to LTP than I want also to fade!?
Sry if I sound a bit frustrated
LTP, HTP or anything else
Hi,
there is a bug in Simple Desk that blocks LTP channels to value in Simple Desk. It will be fixed in the next version. Until then, please do not touch LTP channels in Simple Desk.
The LTP text in documentation is wrong. The proper text is:
> all channels that have **NOT** been assigned to Intensity group
I will fix it. Thanks for spotting it.

Please don't mess up with this forum. I moved this post in the right place now.
And how to config which Channel is LTP or not?
I have found "Intensity" only to choose on VirtualDesk at Attributes. And there it is able to choose, but not to deselect.
And what is meant with LTP is not Fadeable? Read in another Thread.
Have I posted it in announcement? Oh ... okay it was late ^^
That's the reason why I not found the post today morning.

Hi,
once more: Start QLC+ again, **DO NOT TOUCH SimpleDesk**, and try your presets.
LTP not fadeable: imagine fade from Gobo 2 to Gobo 7 - does it make sense?
For most functions, you don't have to change HTP/LTP. That's advanced functionality.
If you have problem, it's elsewhere.
If you can't solve your problem, attach your qxw file, and all fixture files that you created, and write step by step process how to reproduce your problem.

ok
Maybe I think to difficult.
I will test today evening and yes without SimpleDesk, thats clear.

So ...
The first problem is done after not touching the SimpleDesk and is clear for me.
I have created a VirtualDesk with some Slider for each TriPar and some Buttons for scenes.
And there are still some things, which are not 100% clear for me.
Some Scenes like "Keyboard" and "Cupro 1" are toggling and hold and must be deactivated.
Other Scenes like "MossGreen" are just a trigger.
On "GoldenAmber" I have added the Dimmer and than it was also toggling.
And the scenes are adding each other and if I want to run only one I have to use a SingleFrame, okay.
But the VirtualSlider can overwrite the scenes (HTP).
Questions:
How can I ignore the Slider if a Scene/Case is active?
What are the programtechnical reasons that some Buttons "hold" and some not?

There is a basic problem with HTP / LTP behavior, I tested from the first to the last version of QLC+ and all behave the same bad way: I can't fade a function that controls a LTP channel!!! And, I don't want to change all fixtures LTP to HTP because I need the LTP behavior working right as Q Light Controller does. If you have Q Light Controller and QLC+ installed, just compare and watch the DMX levels (the workspace will open in both software versions)...

Hello to you Cristiano.
I believe this is a misunderstanding of how QLC+ works.
I haven't tested your project with QLC, but I doubt it was working.
Anyway, a Scene doesn't have a duration, so it's obvious that as soon as you raise a slider, it immediately stops.
Also, a slider in playback mode controls the intensity of the attached function. A Speed channel is not an intensity channel, so what you're trying to do is wrong anyway.
There is just one simple solution: use a slider in level mode
See attached project
