hello all. LOve qlc plus. constantly finding new ways to tweak my console to get the best shows. I am a DJ and audio engineer for live bands. I had some ideas that could add to the flexibility.

I have a variety of fixture for effects as well as a multitude of pars for flood. I like my shows to be in sync and very dynamic with the music for live shows. I do alot of blackout scene between songs and like that the all stop can be set to fade, but is it possible to be able to set the all stop with a fade time in settings like a widget rather than in a drop down menu .

Hello again.

This is a post originally posted awhile ago. As i was saying i wanted to be able to have a one button approach to fade out and all stop. I recently figured out a way to get QLC to do this automated black out with a simple button set up.

I created a chase i call "Color Fade" which is based on a scene that fades in to its max values and in the next step of the chase fades to all zero. I then created another button as a stop all function button and called it "fade stop". Finally i gave both buttons the same key combination trigger so they trigger in sync.

This stops all functions running but also allows the chase to engage, so instead of a flat blackout fade it actually gives a smooth transition fade from my master scene (ambient light) instead of just lights out.

The reason for this is i am running live sound (FOH and monitors) as well as a detailed light show so i need single touch functionality to ease my work load.

Cant say it enough, great software!
