Hi, what does this mean ?
Dimmer (Mode =246)

Are you sure someone else using this definition will understand it ?

Hi Massimo,

As for other fixtures I made I respected the manufacturer manual.

The channel you are asking is Dimmer when mode channel 245.

I don't really understand why manufacturer use this kind of channels witch can have different usage regarding the value of other channels.

I agree with you that it is not easy to understand and to use.

But, in my view, it's manufacturer choice that is little strange.

I can change channel names, it will not be more understandable I think.

I found a link to the manual (sorry it's french only) but you'll find DMX channels as I made

http://telechargement.csf-sonorisation. ... manuel.pdf

Let me know if you have advices for me to improve the fixture, I'll make it better.

Hi, yes, I've seen that manual too, even though I refuse to learn a word of French :)

The thing here is that QLC+ is not capable of handling such kind of fixtures. Basically it doesn't handle channels that change their meaning depending on other channels, thus it is impossible to write an appropriate fixture.

Anyway, I tried to improve it a bit and I included in version 4.7.1. Please check it out.

Thanks for the effort

Okay, I understand the problem regarding this kind of fixtures and QLC+ support.

I'll check on next release to see if I can improve my fixture.

I'll give you a feedback on this feature.
