more than one MIDI controller in Raspberry Pi?

Hello everybody,

after testing QLC+ on a bigger show I'd like to use it with my Raspberry Pi 2, but I have 4 MIDI controllers I want to use. On Windows I use MIDI-OX for bundling the 4 controllers into one virtual MIDI-YOKE device, but how can I do that on Debian?

Thank you very much!

Andreas

Hi, why do you need to merge the controllers ?
Can't you just assign them to 4 universes ?
VC Widgets don't make difference between universes

Ciao Massimo,

that could be an option, thank you. do i have to activate also an output on the other universes to get them active?

Not really, no.

Inputs and outputs are indipendent (unless you use the passthrough mode, which is not your case)

You can even have 7 universes: 4 input-only and 3 output-only
Whatever combination you prefer.
