QLC+ 4.14.1 release

Howdy QLC+ community,
today is version 4.14.1 turn.
Even though I spent months on refining QLC+ on Qt 6, version 4.14.0 (on Windows and ARM macOS) has proven the efforts were not enough.
Therefore I apologize for whatever this caused to you guys and your projects.

If you use some Script functions and saved your project with 4.14.0, you might need to revert the Script syntax changes. If you have a copy saved with 4.13.x just use that.
Otherwise share it in the forums and we'll help to convert it back and fix it.

Additional notes for Mac users:
  • package for Intel Macs is now signed and should work as Apple expects and will require access to microphone and network
  • package for Apple Silicon Macs has been built on macOS 15 and requires macOS 15 to run. So for those who are on Mx CPU, you will have to update macOS to the latest version. (which is basically the Apple policy to almost force users to always run the latest OS version)
Changelog
  • engine: fix crash when using multiple RGBMatrix
  • engine: fix crash when using a Script function
  • Show Manager: fix hanging with an infinite duration EFX
  • Simple Desk: fix crash when resetting a channel with no fixture associated
  • Virtual Console/XY Pad: fix Pan/Tilt fine controls not getting saved
  • UI: fix incomplete or missing translations (thanks to Itay Lifshitz)
  • Input Profiles: update Launchpad Mini profiles with color table (thanks to Jan Fries)
New fixtures:
  • New fixture: beamZ MHL75 Hybrid Moving Head (thanks to Mikko Wuokko)
  • New fixtures: Eurolite LED TSL-1000 Scan MK2, Varytec LED Theater Spot 100 (thanks to Christoph Wieser)
  • New fixtures: Briteq BT Theatre 250EZ + Mk2 + Mk3 (thanks to Christoph Müllner)
  • New fixture: Showtec Spectral M800 IPX (thanks to Bram Janssen)
  • New fixture: Briteq LED UV-Gun (thanks to Freddy Hoogstoel)
  • New fixtures: Eurolite LED Twin Scan Bar, Vari-Lite VL2402 Wash, Vari-Lite VL2202 Spot (thanks to Mitsch)
  • New fixture: Eurolite TMH-11 Moving-Head Wash, SonicPulse LED Bar 05 and 10 (thanks to Simeon08 & ReComplexed)

Your efforts are always appreciated and every large scale software company issues a .1 patch after a big release. QLC+ is something special and it genuinely competes with paid programs at this point.

I have re-uploaded the Windows version. It is now 4.14.1-2.
Audio is fixed.
This is another Qt last-minute gift from 6.8.1 to 6.8.2.
It's really driving me insane cause it prevents me to advance this project.
My whole time goes into fixing Qt-related issues rather than QLC+ related activities.
Really sad :(

Thank you for your hard work. I did send you some $$ recently as a token of my appreciation.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, especially since I know you've been really fighting with this release, but on my windows machine (at least) I'm seeing the following behavior with RGBMatrixes when I open a show from 4.13 in 4.14.
  • Many, many of the matrices that were previously different colors in 4.13 have been changed to red when the mode is RGB
  • RGB Matrices that previously had the secondary color set as transparent or no color are now defaulted to black
  • RGB Matrices that were previously set to Dimmer mode have been changed to RGB mode and when changed back to dimmer mode, the brightness is a fraction of what it was
I thought I was going to be able to go through and just touch up the dimmer RGBMatrices but unfortunately the color changing requires too much work so I'm going to have to revert to 4.13.

My apologies, I thought this was the appropriate place to report bugs on the release.

Hi everyone, I use qlc+ with linux mint. I created my console with the penultimate version. Lately in a couple of situations it crashed. I updated the system, but it still crashed. So I downloaded the latest version. I haven't tested it yet, but I hope it's more stable and reliable. The risk of crashing during a show makes me a bit anxious. Is it possible to have info on the stability of the linux version? Thanks and compliments for the extraordinary work
