Hello everyone,
I have a number of functions that I would like to be able to change the speed of in real time, so I have speed dials attached to those functions.
The functions that contain a hold time in a sequence work well with the speed dials, but the functions that contain only fade-in times (0 hold time) the speed dials have no effect on. Is this by design or am I implementing the speed dials incorrectly?
Is there a way to use only fade-in times in a sequence and still have a speed dial work with it?

Seems like I may have found the answer to my own question through further trial and error.
It seems that if you have multiple steps in a chaser tied to a speed dial, the speed dial will only work if the step duration in the chaser is set to "common".
If the step duration in the chaser is set to "Per Step" then the speed dial does nothing.
Makes sense from a logic perspective I suppose. But means I can't use the speed dial the way I wanted to.

Have you tried using two separate Speed Dials: one to control your chaser and another one to control the functions that you use within your chaser.

It is even possible to use separate Speed Dials for Run Time (set Fade In Factor and Fade Out Factor to (not Sent) and use a specific value for Run Time) and Fade Times (now set Run Time to (not Sent) and use specific values for Fade In Factor and Fade Out Factor).
Be aware that the values you use need to make sense: if your Fade In Time is longer than your Run Time you will kill your effect before it can actually start.
With Loopback you can also use a fader to dynamicaly change your Run or Fade Times.
