It has taken me far longer than I would ever admit to get this simple as pie setup working. I have worked in IT for over 15 years dealing with all sorts of various levels. I now currently provide technical liaison to a museum basically translate the tech jargon to laymen terms.
I have two Chauvet ColorDash Accent 3 lights, I had a color dash Accent Quad but the LCD died and I cant control it... Im looking to buy the replacement screen.
Anyways I started to try install/compile on raspberry pi and got turned off by all the dependencies and things that were missing in raspbian so I ended up finding a fanless PC that basically was used for digital signage installed ubuntu got QLC v4something installed on it and running as web mode.
I will say that there is a pivotal piece of information missing from all my searches. I know it states somewhere that to run scenes with the VC it needs to be in present mode but it doesn't from what I recall say that it needs to be in present mode when using the web console version. It should be greyed out as an option if not in present mode. I couldnt atleast work out how to make it switch from the web console.
Either way I have now deployed it just in time for halloween night. LOL I followed the tutorials which is probably very evident in my stuff so far.
