Hi All,
I have adapted an existing fixture to my mac hah multifx bar led and created a project inside qlc+
As I am newer is it a "basic" 3 channels
I have an issue I can't understand: in the virtual console I have created a "reset" button that trigger a scene with default value. It works nicely for 2 of the three channel...
The problem is related to "dimmer" which if I click reset show the right value but don't set it. Same at start that specific one don't take the default value set in my fixture..
Any help would be appreciate.
In attachment the two files.
edit: solved using heads & toggle buttuns & solo frames, thanks all !

replaying to myself it looks like if I use "speed" instead of "intensity" type in my fixture for the dimm it works. It looks related to the grand master causing trouble with my specific intensity channel. Like I said I am very new here (dmx, software) so maybe I didnt catch a concept.

I have adapted an existing fixture to my mac hah multifx bar led ....
This is not an easy fixture to start with.
This is because it is "Multi": it is actually a combination of 2 Par Lights, 2 Derby's, 1 Laser and a Bar with 4 LEDS .
In order to be able to control each of these 6 fixtures seperately you need to tell QLC+ where they are: in other words
you did not define the Heads in your Fixture Definition.
You could have a look at the "Heads Tab" section overhere:
https://docs.qlcplus.org/v4/fixture-def ... or/modes
It can help if you first open a similar existing Fixture Definition (like Cameo Multi FX Bar or Showtec QFX Multi) in your Fixture Definition Editor and use it as an example (to understand how to set Heads).
In general it is good practice to start with some easy exercises when you are new, but the 3 channel mode is far to basic for getting to understand how to use QLC+.
Therefor i suggest you to (first complete your Fixture Definition and then) switch to 26 Channel mode and
first concentrate on using only the two PARs.
You could start to create some Scenes to set the Colors, put them in a Solo Frame (do not use the Flash option) with a Slider in Submaster mode and also create a Slider (in Level Mode) for your Master Level.
If you need examples, you could look overhere:

Cedric, Please change the title of your thread.
Your issue has nothing to do with the VC or sliders.
As Michel gratefully stipulated, your problem is in the wrong fixture profile.

Cedric should change his title, but that is because it is not correct English.
The simple past of “to reset” is just “reset”, same as the simple present (except that it doesn’t become “resets” for the third person singular).

"Resetted" is what we call FrEnglish (French English).
No problem: for most members on this forum (including Fredje and me) English is not the native language.
There is a problem with his Fixture Definition in 26 Channel Mode, but the issue he describes does occur in 3 Channel Mode.
What he noticed is that Channel 1 (Master level, by Default set to
HTP) acts different from Channel 3 (Effect Speed, by Default set to
LTP).
