What can QLC+ do? (Big Pixel Round)

It turns out a lot.
I have been meaning to share some of my projects with the community so I decided to document my latest creation. It features over 1,600 addressable pixels. I understand QLC+ isn't necessarily designed for this sort of application but it totally works.
The first step of any project is design. This is the design I opted for.
I started out by cutting a roughly 4 foot circle out of a piece of lauan plywood
I decided to use a bit of peg board as a template so I would end up with an even grouping of holes
I wanted to try my hand at steam bending. This took me a few weeks to get right but I was finally able to create a border around the round panel and then painted it black. Now the fun part of gluing in all the pixels.
During breaks, I would spend time building the light within QLC+. This took a while as the tool isn't optimized for this use case. It is completely doable though which shows the robustness of the software.
This got tedious as you can imagine.
The first test. I used two power supplies totaling 30 amps to make sure I had plenty of headroom when displaying white content.
After this, I started testing out gifs and photos in QLC+. I will share some further videos as I play around with it but I have two I can share for now.

Again, I know this isn't the popular use case for the program but I figured it would be interesting to show another way to use it. I always appreciate new matrix animations. Thank you to everyone who contributes to this project. More to come from me. I have a few other projects I haven't shared and I will add more photos and videos to this thread later.
