The output from cat /proc/bus/input/devices correctly identifies the touchscreen I'm using, Waveshare WS170120, and links it to the correct input handler "event3" for the touchscreen. But I get no response from the touchscreen using the QLCPlus image. If I swap back to my regular RPI SD then all is ok. There is no difference in the config.txt files either.
This must be a QT/QLCPLUS setting problem. Can you help please.
Best regards

Welcome to the community,
A touchscreen mimics a mouse pointer. When it is reachable at your O.S., it should be reachable in the QLC+. Am I making a mistake here by stating that?
Wait wait - you are saying the QLC+ official SD-image is __not__ working?
Did you follow the manual? There are specifics on how to enable touchscreens to work ... Did you study the accompanying .pdf?

All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore

There are some functions that I cannot access via my touchscreen - I have to switch over and use my wireless mouse pad.
That's why I couldn't understand how to load projects on my Pi (another thread). I couldn't access the "Design Mode" button. When I switched to using the mouse, I could access it (and some other features).
