Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and learning how to use this software from my macbook, I'm trying to generate a new fixture but I've had several problems configuring it. I have 4 devices that I can configure but it doesn't enable all of its functions or the names on the buttons and tabs of the simple desk. Could someone help me? I've attached their manuals or maybe someone already has these fixtures. Thank you very much.
The devices are
Brand device model

TECSHOW - QUADBAR LED 12PIX
TECSHOW - ALFIE HEX (MOVING HEAD)
BIG DIPPER - LM30A 8*3W RGBW LED

The Tecshow Quadbar 12 PIX is the same as Equinox Quad Pix Batten.
I only made a copy and changed Manufacturer and Model Name, so all credits should go to Justin Hornsby.

For the Tecshow Alfie Hex i have my doubts, whether the description in the manual for channel 13 (Color Mixing Adjustment) is correct, but it is very likely that you are never going to use this channel.
As i am not a fan of a Dimmer/Strobe channel , i advise you to only use the 15 channel mode.

Tecshow-Alfie_HEX.qxf

Make sure to put the Fixture Definitions in your User Library (read the manual: https://docs.qlcplus.org/v4/fixture-definition-editor).

And the third one:

As the manual does not mention the colors, i added two different modes RGBW-WBGR and WBGR-WBGR.
It is up to you to find out which mode will work with your fixture. :)

hi michel !!
Thank you very much!! It has been a great help. I'll stay in another forum. Pls 56 flat, I'm also the one who wrote it. Thanks again!! This helps a lot for those of us who are just starting out with the software!!

Why not try it yourself?

Start with making a copy of the Chauvet Slim Par 56 (this is a simular fixture).
If you change Manufacturer and model on the first tab and on the Modes Tab change the order of the channels for 7 channel mode you are almost there.
The first 5 channels will be OK, you only have to make some changes to (ranges and descriptions) of channels 6 and 7.

Hello my friend, I'm doing it, but with my errors, for some reason of the manufacturer of each equipment or luminaire, the master dimmer does not respond to all the functions, I also did not know that there were similar equipment in the identical channels, as I explained I am very new and I resorted to the experience of the forum!! Thanks!!

the master dimmer does not respond to all the functions,
If you are on the Virtual Console Tab click on the Toolbox Icon in the Top Menu.
Now select the Grand Master Tab and here you can set the Grand Master to act on either Intensity channels or on All channels.

Be aware that QLC+ defaults to "Intensity" for a reason as you do not want the Grand Master to also:
- change the frequency of a buit in Strobe function.
- change the color if your fixture has a color wheel (or change the Gobo if you have a Gobo wheel).
- change Pan and Tilt of your Moving Heads.

Furthermore if you become more experienced and start using things like Loopback channels, using the Grand Master will cause a lot more unwanted/unexpected "surprises". :)

I would advise you not to use the Grand Master at all, but instead put some specific sliders on your Virtual Console for those things you really want to control.
Have a look at the manual https://docs.qlcplus.org/v4/virtual-console/slider and specifically at what you can do with the Submaster.
