Hi,

I've set a moving head with a pan range 120-215 and tilt 0-140. (In DMX Values)
I set 3 vertical positions with the same pan (170) and 3 tilts: 0 (Low) 60 (Middle) and 140 (high)
I set an EFX in relative mode: a 10 by 10 circle.

If I select my middle position and launch the EFX, it moves the pan between 160 and 180, and the tilt between 50 and 70. That's normal.

If I select my bottom position and launch the EFX, the pan should moves between 160 and 180, and the tilt shouldn't go below 0, so it should stay between 0 and 10...BUT when it reaches 0 it jump to 255 and decrease to 245, then goes up to 255 and jump again to 0 up to 10 etc...

For the high position the EFX goes in tilt from 130 to 150, so there is no "jump", but the values 141 to 150 shouldn't be available as they are not in the allowed range.

I use QLC+ 4.13.1 on Linux.

If you have a look at the on line manual for the X-Y Pad (https://docs.qlcplus.org/v4/virtual-console/xy-pad)
and go to "Configuration / 2. Fixtures tab" you can read:
Here you can add/remove the fixtures that the XY Pad will control in usage #1.

So the restrictions you did set on Pan range and Tilt Range only apply if you use the X-Y Pad for Absolute Positioning.

If you want to limit the Pan and Tilt in all possible situations, you could consider using a Channel Modifier (https://docs.qlcplus.org/v4/fixture-man ... properties).
A QLC Workspace is like a Bob Ross painting: "it's your world, you can create whatever you want!"

Thanks. I never used the channel modifier, but I guess it's the right tool. Thanks for your advice!
