Q Light Controller+

Hi Everyone! I love the community here,

Sorry if this is already posted but I couldn't find anything....I have Enttec's EMU software and I'm trying to find a visualizer software that can render EMU's protocols. The Google and forum searches yield topic relevant but content vague information on yes or no, who does what etc. Can this software do this?

Welcome to the forum.
The EMU software can spit out Artnet, I suppose. With some love and understanding, you could try the v5 (it's a beta version!) as a visualiser and capture Artnet signals.
But then it will quickly become clear that by using QLC+ the EMU will be obsolete

To help you get started here's a quick guide:

Download QLC+ 5

Add some "fixtures' - if it's pixel tape I'd recommend adding some battern lights which use RGB only channels. (Drag and drop the fixture into the 2D view)

Go to input/outputs. Open the inputs list on the left, find the Artnet plugin and drag it to the left side of universe one.

Select passthrough.

Output artnet from Elm.

See the fixtures lighting up in the 3d view.


Try using 127.0.0.1 for both ELM and QLC+
