Hey all! I'm sure there's no way to do this, but I thought I would ask anyway.
I just got a pair of Yorkville LP304 units with the foot controller. While they have XLR inputs, they do not work with true DMX, but use their own proprietary system. I've seen on Youtube that there was a converter available, but I can't seem to find any info on it now.
Anyway, does anyone know if there is some kind of way to make these guys work with QLC? They would be a loverly addition to my current setup.

XLR != DMX signal (and dangerous frying things up...)
Please post a DMX chart or something configuring-wise documentation

You can find the Owners Manual overhere: https://www.yorkville.com/downloads/ow ... 4lp608.pdf
It does not respond to DMX, but on page 5 you will find that it has (some kind of a) a MIDI interface.
What you could do is try to buy a pair of second hand 4 channel multi dimmers (like the Showtec MultiDim) or 4 channel DimmerBars.
Some remarks:
- go for the MultiDim. The MultiSwitch can only turn the lights On and Off.
- as your fixtures are 20 - 30 years old i would not spend to much money on it.
- those MultDims can only control incandescent lights (= old school bulbs), you cannot use them for LED.
- might be that you need to replace the power cables/plugs.
