Q Light Controller+

Hello! I'm new using qlc+

I have a few issues...

1. When I connect my usb to dmx adapter, qlc+ 4 won't open never, I try a lot and it just doesn't start (But qlc+ 5 does)
2. When I use the virtual console for controlling my dmx lights, it's like they start blinking (I don't know if it's any cable issue or what)

Hello, Now it works. I just installed 1 previous version of qlc+ 4. Also, the usb-dmx issue has been fixed, drivers got compatibility issues with another one

it may be a problem if previous version works and current does not -- it blocks you from upgrading to newer features.
So it might be worth troubleshooting.

I have the same problem with a fresh new OPEN DMX USB interface from ENTTEC. Latest driver ok.
Windows 10 with latest upgrade.
QLC+ 4.13
I tested on another PC, I have the same problem.
Windows 10 with latest upgrade
QLC+ 4.13
The solution of deleting the 'port' in the device manager does not work for me.

Welcome to the forum,

Enttec open DMX should work out of the box...
Can you open your project with a text editor and delete the block where your universes are defined?
It seems an odd problem - even on both (?) computers...
Did you try and install QLC+ under 'administrative rights'? It might be that restrictions are in place and you get faulty drivers addressed?

QLC+ is installed under the administrator profile. I launch QLC, I chose a universe and DMX USB, but when I click on the button to configure it, the program closes.

Verify the status of your drivers?
Is this a windows machine? Start 'device manager' and look for your interface.

Hi, i have the exaxt same problem with a new Enttec OpenDMX
USB interface. Did you find a solution? I was thinking in reinstailling the 4.13 version as in v4.12 it works fine. Need to specify that it worked even in 4.13 but with an older interface (same model) that got replaced after an electrical shock.

The latest driver for the Enttec OpenDMX is 2.12.36.4. It can be found here:
