Q Light Controller+

Hi everyone, I'm using version 4.12.7 of the program. I saw Massimo Callegari's tutorial on using RGB panels with the "matrix" functions, but I didn't understand what characteristics these panels must have to be able to be controlled via the DMX protocol. Do they have to have an Arduino or Raspberry Pi interface?

Thank you for the answer... Do you think it could work also with the panels I'm going to use? Not only for the led tapes, right?
