Quick settings on the left sidebar don't show up until 2D View is selected

After adding a new fixture, the quick settings on the left sidebar don't show up on the "Universe View" or the "DMX View" until the "2D View" or "3D View" have been selected at least once. After that, the quick settings show up normally on all tabs.
This issue seems to happen on brand new projects and with the Generic fixtures, so it should be easy to reproduce.
Just go to the "Universe View" on a new project, and add a "Generic RGB" fixture, and you should be able to see, or actually not see, the quick settings.
Then go to "2D View", select the fixture, and the issue is now fixed when you go back to "Universe View".
Them missing, despite the fixture being selected:
Deselecting and selecting the fixture again doesn't fix it on this state.
Them now showing up, after I selected "2D View" once:
