Change chaser using button (Mixxx MIDI For Light)

Hi everyone, I'm currently trying to set up QLC+ to work with Mixxx using Mixxx's MIDI For Light script. So far, I've managed to connect everything properly and set up a basic chaser that pulses white in-time with the active deck's tempo.

My first question is: How do I implement a button/function in the Virtual Console that lets me switch between different chasers?

My second question is: The MIDI For Light script from Mixxx outputs MIDI note 48 with a velocity value of 100 + [Active deck number] for 1 second every time it detects the currently active deck change, then sends the same note with a velocity value of 0 after 1 second. How do I bind the velocity of this MIDI note to the chaser-switching button/function described above?

For now, I'm trying to get a basic set-up of 2 different chasers that toggle between each other depending on which deck I'm currently using (red tempo-synced pulse when I'm on deck 1, and a blue tempo-synced pulse when I'm on deck 2). But I'm having a hard time figuring this out, as I am quite new to QLC+.

Any advise on this would be greatly appreciated.
