How to make a function in shows last different amounts of time

I have a question about using shows:

I want to create a long timed show to go with music. I need to use scenes, chasers, matrix and other functions multiple times but each time lasting for a different amount of time.

I don't want to create the same function 20 times, each time lasting a different amount, I want to quickly make them into different lengths directly in the shows page (otherwise I will spend years).

Is there any way to do it? Do you have any recommendation?
