Hello everybody,

I have a short question concerning mentioned washes "cameo thunder wash 600 rgbw".

Problem is, if I setup an sequence with these little friends just to show plain color e.g. hex #f885dc it's not working.
the white-channel is not used, RG and B are and the result is not the color I wanted to have.
Something is not working with the fixture but I cannot find the mistake..

Did anybody have this problem, too?
Should theoretically be a general problem with RGBW-washers?

Best regards and have a nice weekend,
Marvin

Since QLC+ uses the RGB color system, white is never calculated when selecting a color.
If you are using a hex value as the source of your color, this already is 'only' RGB. So ... ??

If QLC+ had been using the HSI (Hue Saturation Intensity) color-system, a value for white, amber, lime, ... could have been calculated.

With my multi-led-in-one fixtures, I use white (amber, lime, ...) to play with the deepness/lightness of the color. Those values I set manually inside the scenes.
All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore
