greetins everyone.
i found not long ago that we can built matrix with rgb fixtures, i had been testing it with rgb fixture and it works as intended
but i am curious if i could use this matrix functionality with gobo colour from moving heads? or is there another way to do that insdead of manually building the scenes? i could not make it work with my gobo colour (maybe is it because i did the fixture definition wrong?
this is the link of the show and custom fixtures

If your Moving Heads do have a Color Wheel, you need to use Control mode = Dimmer (instead of Defailt(RGB)) in your RGB Matrices.
Be aware that in that mode it only changes the Level, so Color Changing RGB matrices like Balls, Gradient and Plasma will not do much.

aww i would like to say it is a shame , but i do not even know if it is common or not do what i though XD
so the practice in this case is build the scenes step by step and then do a chase?

Yep, that is what I did.... I didn't find any other workaround. The RGB matrix should have an option to send RGB values as DMX channel data. So for example in our case qe can send the R value as DMX data to the gobo wheel with clampled/straight values so we can send Gobo 1/ Gobo 2 or Shutter Open/ Shutter close

Be aware that the colour wheels are rotating wheels. Hence, if you don't like the overlap of colours produced, use the channel modifier so that the colour wheel snaps to a fixed colour. The same goes with the gobo wheels. IMHO, I'm not too fond of overlapping colours/gobos.
