Hi,

I have a fixture with 8 individual RGB lamps.
How do I get this to show as individual lamps on then RGB Fixture Group Matrix?
It just seems to give it a single place holder.
Any help is much appreciated.

I want to be able to utilise the RGB Matrix functions.

You could start by telling the brand and model of the Fixture. :) ;)

First check the manual of the Fixture, whether it has separate channels to control the 8 lamps individually.
Then make sure that you use the right Fixture Definition and set the Fixture to the right Mode.

Hi,

In fixture creator, you can tell how many heads (lamps) there is. RGB matrix take care of that.

As far, as I know RGB Matrix works only with a group. Maybe you should make a group with your fixture (only with one, if you have single, for example).
So step by step:
- Fixture list
- Select your fixture
- Right click of your mouse
- Add fixture to group select
- New Group select
- Make a name of your Group
- OK
Then:
- Functions list select
- RGB Matrix select
- Fixture group in the upper right corner select
- Name of your group select
Then:
- Set RGB Matrix, as you want.
That`s all.
Try it. Maybe it will help you.
Excuse me, if I am not right.
Best regards.
