I'm just generally confused about how palettes work and how to use them. An explanation of both what they do and how to actually use them would be very much appreciated.
Which feature do you refer to? EFX editors set to RGB channel mode (instead of controlling tilt & pan channels in positionmode? They would just be running through the palette colors in the chosen pattern and set the RGB color to these values.
