add color palette to a cue regression?

In the older appimages it was working, these days I'm not able anymore to add a color palette to a cue.
.open the file and edit the cue "dimmer orange full" (it's a cue with a dimmer and a genericRGBW)
.try to add any of the color palettes, I cannot do it, nothing happens.
ps. if I try to remove the dimmer from the cue, I've to save and reload the file to see the modification,
otherwise when I play the cue the dimmer is still "burning".
