Disable widget on external input

I am setting up a project for my band. I want to control lights with external MIDI (e.g. Roland TM-2 to USB).
Getting the MIDI input works fine, to trigger buttons and other actions.

Given that I will be hitting pads while playing drums, I would like to have the option to disable certain buttons upon external input. For example, after an intro of few bars that me hitting the snare triggers a light, I want this behavior to stop, possibly by me hitting another button/pad.

I guess this can be done with a frame and pages, i.e. an external input going to the next page, but wanted to ask if another way is possible.

EDIT: indeed, this is an option in the Frame widget. I will start using that, but would still be interesting to have enable/disable feature for individual widgets.
