Automating QLC+ with websockets

Ok, I've played a bit with the web api test page and would like to create a node-red node to automate the process of loading a project and pressing a button. I'm struggling with the upload qxw. It seems that there is a combination of http upload request and websocket. I'm getting an http response that say http loading but there is nothing happening on the qlc workspace. I haven't implemented any websocket yet because I'm not clear on the order of things.

If you're using node-red could you use an artnet node to send to an input universe on QLC+?

It sounds cool what you're trying to do! Can you give me some more info on what you're trying to achieve?
Is node-red installed on the same box as QLC+? What adaptor are you using? Where will the project live when it's complete? etc.
