Hi, I've created a sequence that changes the dimmers values of my pars every second.
I would like to create a flash button that while its pressed my lights make a strobe effect. I've correctly done both of them the problem is that while the sequence is running in loop, if I keep pressed the strobe button the lights start flashing but once the next scene of the sequence is triggered the strobe effect ends because the sliders are following the new instructions of the sequence.
To make the strobe effect works I have to switch to an always on light scene and then use the strobe button.
If tried to to put the buttons inside an exclusively frame but it doesn't work because I'm using a flash type of button and the pulse sequence doesn't resume itself if I'm using an on/off strobe button.
Strobe while other sequence is going

Hey and welcome to the forum,
Do you use the strobe channels of your fixture? Then you should set the intensity for the strobe scene to full. (HTP mechanism will take care of the full intensity)
If you create your own strobe, then there is a problem. The HTP mechanism always takes the Highest value for intensity. That would explain why, when the next step in the chase is played, your strobe stops doing its thing.
There could be a solution but a complex one... (You will have to temporarily disable the chaser)

Hi, for the strobe I'm using the dimmer channel but I still have the same issue.. the flash button will change the fader to 230 (strobe function) while pressed but when the sequence (not using the chase) goes to the next scene the slider changes.
For button always on:

aha-moment...
Ok, so your fixture is using the dimmer channel to strobe also? This is not useful!
In your fixture profile, you selected a shutter behaviour; which is an LTP channel and might explain why it is behaving like that. Latest value will be used and not the Highest (LTP vs HTP)
If you change your fixture definition with channel 4 = dimmer, your show will work now (but you'll quickly get stuck again because of the mixed channel)
Try it.

I absolutely don't like fixtures with mixed channels. If you want to fade to full f.i. and then you want strobe and back to say 80%, with mixed scenes, now you are creating conflicts.
