Fixture Icons in 2d Monitor Mode

When I add fixtures in the 2d Monitor, each displays a circle of various sizes. What determines the size of the circle? I have some LED floods that are very small compared to PAR cans on dimmers . . . Can I adjust this?

I am not seeing the White or Amber channel on my RGBW and RGBWA-Uv fixtures. Can that be shown?

Also, if I have several fixtures on a single dimmer, can I show multiple fixtures in the Monitor?

This looks like a useful tool . . . I am trying to understand it!

Many questions in 1 post...

The graphical way the fixtures are shown in 2D is a representation of the dimensions entered in the fixture definition. https://www.qlcplus.org/docs/html_en_EN ... l#physical

W A UV etc, is not shown as QLC v4 has an RGB engine. In v5 these channels can be shown also.

Nobody is against the use of bogus (or virtual) additional fixtures to mimic a stage view.

QLC+ sure is more than a useful tool. For small to medium productions, it is equipped with tad tools, the commercial counterparts will look pale :D

Thank you!

I figured all of the questions were related, and the "tool" I was referring to was the 2d Monitor- QLC+ is invaluable to me!! I'm just starting to play with the 2d Monitor.

You are right about the dimensions- it didn't look that way to me . . . I guess because the generic "dimmer" is so big on the Monitor.

I assumed that the White, Amber, etc. are not included in the engine . . . I wondered if there was a workaround . . . but it's not too bad unless you use a lot of white!

I still haven't figured out how to create "bogus" fixtures- the Fixtures tab won't let me assign multiple fixtures to one Address!

For visualization purposes, you can create additional fixtures (at addresses in the 400-range or even at another universe ...) The scenes you create should include these virtual (or bogus) fixtures of course.
