Q Light Controller+

Has anyone used the Rosco ICue with QLC+? I've been asked to install a QLC+ system and they want me to integrate their old ICue's. (old like 4pin) Anyone have any experience? Thanks!

https://us.rosco.com/sites/default/file ... Manual.pdf pg. 3-4-5 show the wiring. It seems that the power supply accepts DMX on a usual 5 pin XLR and combines it with power on the 4 pin XLR that goes to mirrors.

It doesn't seem complicated at all. Create fixture def with 4 channels (PAN COARSE, PAN FINE, TILT COARSE, TILT FINE), set mirror to 16 bit mode and that's it.

QLC+ doesn't support split fixtures, so you won't be able to operate mirror and related dimmer as a one fixture.

Thanks. I guess the question is tho is it quirky. I've had other fixtures that should work on paper but just don't play nicely with QLC.
