Marygel "4 in 1 Stage Light" IGB-Y02

This is a junky party grade fixture which I got long before I even had a DMX interface. Today as an exercise to learn QLC+ I created a fixture definition since it does have a 3 pin DMX port.
The butterfly effect channel 1 color info in the manual was incomplete but I figured it out.
The "strobe function" on channel 5 makes no sense at all.
Unfortunately just as I was finishing the profile, the fixture lost its mind and I saw a lot of weird behavior like it was getting bad DMX signals... flickering, changing modes on its own, etc. I don't think my generic FTDI USB interface is at fault, as my one other fixture (which doesn't suck) is working fine. Oh well! Back to auto mode!
I don't recommend this fixture for anything remotely serious or DMX control ... but for kicks in a party you could do worse. The sound activated butterfly and gobo effects are pretty decent for toy grade gear. However, a couple of years ago when it was under $100, it was easier to swallow.
