Hi there!

First of all, a big thank you to Massimo and all the other developers for this great piece of software!

Yesterday I started testing QLC+ 5 Beta1 at my desktop:
  • Linux Mint 20.2 Cinnamon
  • Kernel 5.11.0-38
  • AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
  • 32 GB RAM
  • NVidia GeForce RTX 3080 @ 2560 x 1440 px
  • Dell U2518 Screen (25 inch)
In my view, the font and buttons are a lot too large for desktop usage. I created a screenshot with my text editor in front of QLC+ for comparison (see attachement 1). I know there is a way to adjust the scaling of QT-based applications, which works with QLC+ 4 (and which scales and looks perfect btw – see attachement 2).

So my question is: Is there a way to scale the font and buttons at QLC+ 5? I haven't figure it out, so far.

Regards

dawu

v5 has a completely rewritten interface, so you cannot ask it to be the same of v4.
v5 is designed to be used also with a touchscreen, that is why items on the screen (especially lists) are bigger.
Anyway, in some future version there will be a way to scale items. IIRC this has already been discussed in some other thread, but I'm too lazy to find it right now.

Thanks for the answer, Massimo.

I understand the idea of the new interface and I like the idea. But I am also looking forward to an option for scaling down the font size.
