RGB Matrix Looping

Hi, I have set my LED strips up in an inwards facing circle, meaning that if I do a stripe effect across the 1 x 42 matrix, i'll get a light whizzing around my LED tape infinitely.
I've found the issue that most of the effects consider the start and the end of the matrix not to be looped back around, so for example using waves, light will appear from the first LED, flying around the circle, then disappear into the end point, before starting again without it's dimmed tail. My work around for this so far has been to convert the effect to a sequence and adjust the channels myself. But this seems to cause my PC to crash more often and i haven't figured out how to use the colour picker for RGB fixture sequences yet (if it can be done at all).
This could also be altered with a frequency option, so i could adjust the effect until the new wave were starting just as the old one begins to finish? This would also mean for the stripes effect you could have multiple stripes going around at any one time etc.
Otherwise a fantastic bit of software!
