INFO DMX flickering

Hi

First time in my life i am in the conditions to use DMX in linux environment

I installed both the QLC versions successfully (kubuntu 20.0) but i experienced a flickering with a freq rate around 1 Hz. it simply means that even a simple par connected is correctly working for one second and then completely dimmered off for another second and so on.
I noticed that the frequency is actually depending on the workload of the computer, as example copying a file to another usb device it keeps the "ON time" longer.
I suspect there is something related to linux and the USB management.

ANybody ever experience something similar or has any clue about something could be responsible for this?

Please note that the card in use is a very cheap chinese card, similar to this

but in windows 8 and 10 it works fine.

I would start lowering the DMX bus frequency to somewhere 20Hz. Check what its outcome is and then gradually increasing the frequency again.
