Screen timeout on Raspberry Pi

It would be very helpful to have the screen timeout when in kiosk mode to prevent burn in when using HDMI displays. It seems "consoleblank" is always set to 0 when QT runs, so there is no way (for a user) to enable screen blanking. "InactivityTimer" On Github may be a good solution (https://github.com/eddyyanto/InactivityTimer).
